Introductory matinee «Hippolyte et Aricie»
We offer introductory matinees to accompany every new production: in conversation with our dramatic advisers, conductors, directors, set and costume designers explain their view of the works in question. On a Sunday morning a week or two before the première, you will thus gain direct insights into the peculiarities of the production.
Director Jetske Mijnssen and conductor Emmanuelle Haïm talk to dramaturge Kathrin Brunner about the new production Hippolyte et Aricie. Musical excerpts from the opera will be presented by Mélissa Petit, Cyrille Dubois, Edwin Crossley-Mercer, Nicholas Scott, Spencer Lang, Alexander Kiechle and Wenwei Zhang, accompanied by Benoît Hartoin on harpsichord.
